VinPro’s annual Production Plan survey – for the 2014 harvest – recently kicked off with a series of input sessions in the respective wine districts.
The voluntary survey among primary wine producers, now in its 11th year, analyses production costs and profitability with regard to wine grape production. An expected 260 participants will represent approximately 25% of the country’s total vineyard area and production.
The first series of Production Plan sessions will contextualise producers’ financial situation with regard to the 2013 figures, followed by trends in the wine valuechain and the realities facing primary producers. The feedback sessions – during which participants are informed of their 2014 results – will start in October, after which the final Production Plan results will be published early in January 2015.
