Q: How was your very first day like and what have the first few months been like?
TN: To be honest, my first day was quite overwhelming. I have been working for myself the last couple of years and finding myself in an office environment was something to get used to, but the people here at Vinpro are extremely friendly and helpful and so the last couple of months have been great.
Q: Why did you decide to work here?
TN: Well, I have worked in the wine industry before and then left. So to find this opportunity to work in the industry again was ideal.
Q: What is a typical day at the office like for you?
TN: If I don’t take the shortcut in from the back, It’s always great to see and greet everyone at the front, make a cup of coffee, laugh at Christo’s or Neil’s jokes (they really are funny) and then get to work.
Q: What have you learnt about this organisation since you started working here?
TN: I have not been at the organisation very long, but what I have experienced thus far is that it’s a relaxed environment where everyone made me feel at home. I also find the organisation and its people within is really committed to their jobs and improving the industry.
Q: How would you describe this organisation in one word?
TN: Passionate

Q: How was your very first day like and what have the first few months been like?
LL: I was here very early and was extremely nervous on my first day. Kim knew exactly who I was when I walked into the office and Martina helped me set up. There was a lot going on but a lot of helping hands. The first few months have been exciting and every day is different. Like any new job, it’s been daunting because you don’t know what your new role would be like or what your new colleagues would be like. However, everyone in my department has been extremely welcoming and helpful. Vinpro as a whole has been amazing and I have enjoyed working here and learn something new every day.
Q: Why did you decide to work here?
LL: I’ve only heard good things about Vinpro and know the important role it has within the industry. I was ready for a new challenge, to learn more about the industry, acquire new skills and take the next step in my career.
Q: What is a typical day at the office like for you?
LL: I’d greet Anton who is at the office at the crack of dawn for some reason and we’d get some coffee. Read through the newspaper, get more coffee, and check my calendar before my day starts.
Q: What have you learnt about this organisation since you started working here?
LL: This organisation does A LOT for the industry and there are many facets that work together. I’ve also learnt that the company values its employees and plays a big role in its members’ business.
Q: How would you describe this organisation in one word?
LL: Ever-changing
