Mastercard and Vinpro have extended their partnership to boost domestic and international tourism to three major South African wine tourism destinations through two dedicated campaigns.

The Start Something Priceless campaign, which ran from November 2021 to February 2022 in collaboration with the South African tourism industry, will continue to provide Mastercard cardholders with exclusive winelands experiences throughout the year. Visitors can explore unique wine tastings, exceptional dining at select restaurants, vineyard drives, world-class accommodation and more at wine farms in Constantia, Franschhoek, and Stellenbosch. As of October 2022, Mastercard cardholders will again receive up to R100 off the value of their wine tasting (per paying cardholder) when they purchase wine to the value of R500 or more from participating tasting rooms.

A newly launched Taste the Good Life campaign with renowned South African musician, chef and entertainer J’Something brings the winelands to local and international visitors through a series of videos and other digital media. View video here.
