The first African edition of the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA) will be held in Durban from 1 – 2 December 2015.
The annual forum connects key decision-makers with innovators to demonstrate how game-changing technologies can impact agriculture and ultimately help feed the world. Since being held in the United Arab Emirates for the past two consecutive years, it has achieved international acclaim for its commitment towards innovation in agriculture.
More than 4 500 attendees from 85 countries attended the previous forum, including food producers, policy makers, investors, ministerial buyers, NGOs, research organisations, resellers, agents and innovators in the agricultural sector.
Apart from exhibitions on crop production, animal production, aquaculture and horticulture, GFIA Africa will include panel discussions, an NGO pavilion, CEO breakfasts, ministerial programmes and technical tours.
