VinPro’s range of technical viticultural courses show the how and explain the why of best vineyard practices.
VinPro’s Training division makes it easy for farmworkers, farm foremen or manager and producers themselves to equip themselves with knowledge. Three options are available, from a quick brush-up of skills to more in-depth study.
The courses are equal to NQF level 1 and a VinPro certificate is issued to those who have successfully completed a course.

(Half Day Course)
This half day course is ideal for farm workers to hone their skills in the field and mainly focuses on practical demonstrations. Courses can be customised to the specific farm’s practices. Courses presented at this level are vineyard establishment, pruning, young vine development and canopy management.
R100 per person per module (VAT included)
Vineyard Establishment: 2 – 30 May 2017
Pruning: 31 May – 20 July 2017
Vine Development: 13 – 28 September 2017
Canopy Management: 3 – 25 October 2017

(Full Day Course)
This full day course is ideal for the farm foreman or manager and includes theory and practical demonstrations. Courses presented at this level are vineyard establishment, pruning, irrigation, young vine development, pest and disease control and canopy management.
R250 per person per module (VAT included)
